LOCAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE

 The Manistee County Transportation Local Advisory Committee meets quarterly the last Tuesday of January, April, July & October. Meetings are held at the main office, 180 Memorial Dr. @ 1:30 p.m. All passengers are welcome to attend LAC meetings without regard to race, color and national origin.

MCTI Board of Directors meetings are held at the main office, 180 Memorial Drive @ 9:00 a.m. on the second Wednesday of each month.

History

Manistee County Transportation is a public transit system which began service in March of 1975 to provide service for Manistee County citizens. Our funding comes from a combination of state and federal support, local millage, and individual and contract fares. We take great pride in providing necessary services to many individuals, groups and organizations, and that we perform these services in a safe, professional and efficient manner.



West Shore Community College


Students can ride the bus for FREE to West Shore Community College from Manistee.

The cost to fill up the car gas tank can be expensive, so riding the bus makes sense. You’ll save money, wear and tear on your car, and you’ll help the environment.

The free service is available during the fall and winter semesters.
